Craig 6700
I didn't get a student loan like, killed me every year when all my mates were getting £2k in the bank and I was living on my £70pw that I earned in a sports shop. Worth it in the long run obviously but was jealous as fook at the time I never understood people like you. Me neither and I was one of them! My old man was a building society manager so it was drummed into me - 'save, don't borrow. Only spend what you have.' As a result, Student Loans were a massive no-no to him as he didn't like the idea of me being in debt. So while mates had quite a bit to one side, I was having to work my arse off to fund what I could. In the long it's anything but worth it - I came out of uni massively into my overdraft and then had to fund rent and living expenses almost straight away. Traditional loans were the only way at that point. So there was me, in debt with my loan paying a standard APR and my mates coming out of uni break-even and with no need to pay a single penny until they hit a certain threashold. Student loans all the way!

Student loans all the way! Well that's where we differ. I didn't have an overdraft so my first full time wage went straight into my pocket. A couple of years living at home and I had enough saved up to pay a deposit on my own house.

Knew you'd pick up on the pigeon thing, I was going to over egg it especially for you. Let me clarify things for you. I have no interest whatsoever in pigeons, they're rats with wings imo but my Grandad was a very well known local flyer and the racing pigeon community is very close knit. I used to help him with them when I was a bairn and a result of this is I know lots of local flyers. Is that satisfactory Dr Lonely?

Monroe Transfer 0
i prefer the old xbox anyway, means you can switch hd's anytime you like with no fuss And you can do that on the slims too.
Monroe Transfer 0
can ya? i thought it was a case of opening them up for the slims rather than a 10second unclip/clip You take the side grill off and pull the label on the HDD to get it out. Takes about 5 seconds and looks much better for it.
Monroe Transfer 0
The newer HDDs are little sleek looking things. Just pops into the bay in the background.
