Tom_NUFC 0
Where are you getting the Chile 62s from Tom? Could do with a new pair myself. Schuh and Office have them in. I've been after some for ages but haven't been able to get them because I've got proper clowns feet and take a size 12. I was passing Office last saturday and decided to have a look, but as usual no 12s and they didn't know when/if they would get them. So I popped across to Schuh, same story there in both branches. But they had a look and said that the one in the Metrocentre had one pair of 12s in. I detest the Metrocentre, but I thought bollocks, if they've got some I'm having them. I tell a lie, it wasn't the bearings. The flywheel exploded apparently! Fuck off? For a flywheel to explode you have serious case of claiming against the manufacturer. I've seen a vehicle where the flywheel came loose, sheared the bolts and then proceeded to make it's way through the bell housing/chassis rail/body of the vehicle. It went through it like a hot knife through butter.

Kid Dynamite 7034
I may be jumping the gun a long way in advance here but il be looking for a new job in December and I fancy a CPN post. If thats the case after 3 months im entitled to a lease car so ive been looking around as my car is 7-8 years old now. As far as I can tell the lease rates go on The lower the price + The lower the emissions = The lower the lease amount The New Seat Ibiza Sport Diesel is only around £12k and has emissions of 112 and doesnt look too bad imo. Got one of those panoramic sunroofs too Edited July 16, 2009 by Kid Dynamite
Craig 6682
Got one of those panoramic sunroofs too They're a nice idea in principle but I borrowed a 207 SW a few months back which had one and found a major flaw. When the sun is out and shining down on you, your sun visor is anything but useful.

It went through it like a hot knife through butter. Well it's a company car so I'm not going to be pushing too hard in terms of compensation but yeah, I was as surprised as you are. The AA guy who recovered me off the motorway shook his head and said it's lower engine trouble, most likely the main bearings and the noise I was hearing would be the pistons slapping against the bores as the crank wallowed away inside the case. Lease company called me yesterday and advised that parts were on order and would be fitted by end of play Friday. Told them I expected it to be terminal and asked what parts and they replied "new clutch and flywheel" and that the garage would phone me to discuss in further detail. Sure enough they called and repeated the same. When I asked what actually happened he replied "your flywheel exploded and destroyed the clutch in the process". I asked if the gearbox and/or crankshaft was damage at all and he replied "unbelievably no". Said they unbolted the gearbox from the engine and the pieces of flywheel literally fell out - reckons the pressure plate for the clutch was holding it all in place. The thought of what you witnesed has just made me shudder. All I had to do was limp it to the hard shoulder.

The Golf I've gone for is the Bluemotion - CO2 is only 107 g/km so only paying tax at a rate of 13%.
