And you can watch footy on it... unlike some lcd tv's

eh?

what he said ???

At a guess the canofbeans is refering to the fact that lcd tvs/monitors have strobing/flicker issues with moving pictures due to manufacturers not being able to get them to refresh quick enough thus making watching football on them a chore.

LCD television

Liquid crystal display television (LCD TV) is television that uses LCD technology for its visual output. The technology used is generally TFT. In the early 2000s, LCD flat-panels captured a large part of the computer monitor market from traditional CRTs. Continuing advances in LCD TV technology enable it to compete against Plasma flat panels and rear-projection televisions (DLP, LCD, and LCoS) for large-screen HDTV.

Early LCD television had drawbacks relative to traditional visual display technologies. It displayed fast-moving action with "ghosting" and could be viewed best only when looking directly at the screen or from a slight angle. These problems have largely been overcome in recent years, and LCD televisions, along with plasma displays, have taken over the dominant market position worldwide from cathode ray displays. The LCD design has the additional advantage of being more efficient in the use of electricity than the CRT design.

I'm going to buy a vase today. I received some purdy flowers yesterday for doing a good deed and then realised I don't own a vase. They're currently standing in a drinking glass

If you get the one that isn't 'count on us', it's lush.

Gonna go into town and buy whichever 3 Inches Of Blood albums I don't own. They're awful but I like em.

M&S food is the schiznit tbh. All apart from the 'count on us range' which tastes like shite.

I go in there and come out buying half a dozen things more than I'd planned. Been knocking them chocolate cornflake things back of late and I make no apologies for it.

Haven't seen them, but please don't tell me they're like those things you make in cookery at school when you're 9.

Funnily enough I was trying to recall whether the rice krispies ones were better than the cornflake ones but I couldnt. Without having both to try at once it was impossible. Indeed after the third box I gave up trying altogether.
