Monroe Transfer 0
Ordered myself a little Nexus 7 tablet. £200 from tesco direct. Class.
Happy Face 29
Class. Not sure about these tablets having had one for a year or so. Since the novelty wore off I'm tending to use my phone or my laptop depending on what I'm doing. Never seems to be many situations where the tablet is best. LoveTheBobby 1
You got the HP Toucherpad in the firesale didn't you HF (iirc) ? Did it turn out to be any good ? I got a Currys refurb Advent one at similar time after missing out on the HP ones and have to agree I rarely use it now and similarly revert to phone. Withput sounding like Comicbook Guy - it was the weight of it - became a real deadweight after half an hour holding it with having a glass screen and wotnot . It is good however to link to bedroom tv to stream Sunday Supplement on a Sunday morning like !
LoveTheBobby 1
Wanking in bed, tablet wins every time. How do you tackle the angle issues ? Prop it against a cushion ? got one of those foldy fake leather stands ? Logistic me . .
ChezGiven 0
How do you tackle the angle issues ? Prop it against a cushion ? got one of those foldy fake leather stands ? Logistic me . . Plump the duvet and then stand it in the duvet itself meaning it doesnt slip on the bed sheet. I'm guessing a pillow or a leather stand does the same job. If you're a 'page-flicker' then some sort of stand contraption is required, if you're happy to let the plot develop you can just use your other hand. Mine's a high sheen model as it were so slippage is a problem. It could do with a strip along the bottom edge that would offer some friction. Nowt worse than an untimely slump wot . I've removed web os and installed android on it. There are just very few apps that offer more on the tablet version than they do on the phone I think.
