Birmingham (h)

It's an 8pm start for our FA Cup Third Round replay against the Championship leaders on Wednesday.

Cash turnstiles will be available to pay on the night, with the visitors having taken an advance allocation of 1,800 places.

Among the winners of the recent FA.com competition offering tickets for this tie was John Delap, who saw the link on NUFC.com - glad to be of service!

NUFC: Glenn Roeder has confirmed that he intends field the same side and subs as were used at White Hart Lane on Sunday:

Given, Ramage, Taylor, Huntington, Pattison, Solano, Butt, Milner, Dyer, Martins, Sibierski.

Subs: Harper, Edgar, O'Brien, Carroll, Troisi.

(No less than nine of those 16 have come through our Academy, with transfer fees being paid only in respect of Given, Solano, Butt, Milner, Dyer, Martins and Sibierski).

If we win then Solano will be suspended for the visit of Reading. Should City dump us out though, then there will no on-field reunion for the Peruvian when Villa visit SJP later this month.

Emre and Scott Parker are being kept back for Saturday's Premiership visit of West Ham, while Carr is now back in training.

Optimistic noises are also being made about Duff, Babayaro and Bramble returning to training next week.

BCFC: To follow... new signing Rowan Vine is cup-tied while Stephen Clemence and Nicklas Bendtner are injured. David Dunn seems to be in the departure lounge to either Blackburn or Bolton.

Ref: Chris Foy. We've lost both games that this Merseyside-based official has taken charge of this season - a 1-2 defeat at SJP by Fulham and the pre-Christmas 0-1 reverse at the hands of Chelsea.

There's no provision for second replays in this competition, so extra time and penalties will be used to decide a winner if required.

I fancy a comfortable home win, 3-0

I can see it going to extra time unfortunately.

I can too. Hopefully with a Watford style outcome.

Not much of a surprise....

Newcastle United: Shay Given, Nolberto Solano, Kieron Dyer, Obafemi Martins, James Milner, Antoine Sibierski, Nicky Butt, Peter Ramage, Steven Taylor, Paul Huntington, Matty Pattison

Subs: Steve Harper, David Edgar, Alan O'Brien, Andy Carroll, Kazenga LuaLua

Birmingham City: Maik Taylor, Mathew Sadler, Martin Taylor, Matthew Upson, Sebastian Larsson, Cameron Jerome, Bruno N'Gotty, Damien Johnson, Fabrice Muamba, Gary McSheffrey, DJ Campbell

Subs: Julian Gray, Mehdi Nafti, Colin Doyle, Neil Kilkenny, Neil Danns

Referee: Peter Walton.

Only change as far as I can see is LuaLua in, Troisi out.
