So tried the plastic bag jobby today........disaster :(

 

Didnt help that I got all smug with our lass giving it the "Im going to show you pet" routine.

 

Everything went to plan...........

........except when I poried it out and cut it open, fluid spilled everywhere. Yuk!

Maybe it was because I used three eggs instead of two. :(

I always finish mine under the grill then fold it onto the plate.

 

Fry the veg, add the egg and swill it about (ie the whole lift and tilt shenanigans) top with cheese then grill until it's melted.

 

Hadn't tried the poached omelette method shown above, it just popped up when stumbling and reading this thread at the same time.

Was about to say just that Alex, takes less than half the time and carry on of this bag nonsense.

I'd say you went wrong ,CT, by not using enough water to poach it in btw- looks like you've only got an inch or two there :)
