Ken 119
Just got given a bag of beetroots and Jerusalem artichokes from a friend's overflowing allotment. Need to look for something interesting to do with them that isn't just "soup" (though that will be the backup if all else fails ). Not much that crosses my mind. I think I've mentioned it before but I have one raw beetroot a day blitzed (along with apple juice and tumeric) purely for health purposes. If you try this then I must worn you that the colouration of one's urine takes getting used to. Doing a number 2 could cause grief too if not used to it, but the years drinking copious amounts of red wine (which causes the same problem) in a sitting has allowed me to not blink an eyelid at this. catmag 337
Just hoyed tomato, lentil and veg soup together in the slow cooker for my dinner over the next few nights. Along with a new routine of various methods of exercise 4 times a week I think I might be having a mid-life crisis.
Meenzer 15716
That's just common sense though. So yes, probably. His grandparents bought us a soup maker for Christmas. I was sceptical at first but it's bloody brilliant. Chuck all the ingredients in and it's done in 20 minutes.
