Cookery question.

Got a turkey leg in the slow cooker and was planning to make a Mary Berry Chicken curry with it.

The recipe calls for an amount of chicken stock.

Should I use the normal Knorr cube or use the juices given off by the a Turkey leg?

Do juices = stock and if so will they alter the flavour too much.

Turkey juices are not stock, no.

Stock is typically made from boiling bones/off cuts of meat along with seasoning and vegetables.

Currently cooking up one of my faves - corn beef and black pudding hash. Comfort food at its finest.

Just had an omelette with red pepper, red onion, mushroom, cherry tomatoes, cheese and crushed chillies. Quality tea.

Simple but lovely. Good for you too. CT take note!

Was originally put under Chez's bedsheets while he was asleep by a disgruntled Parisian Restuarant owner with connections to the local mob after a rather lukewarm review from Chez of his signature dish 'Puppynose truffle'.
