Btw, if you want to get pissed, but ease off the calories for while, vodka and diet coke is probably the way to do it. I'm not a fan myself but it's low in calories.

yup vodka is by far the best drink if you're counting calories. slimline tonic or lime and soda are other healthy mixers

and stay off the wifebeater. every pint of stella/kronenburg etc contains 700 calories!

so you can get on it if you're watching your weight. just be prepared to look like a total mincer when you're getting your round in.

That'll be the worst like. Those are my favored brands. Don't think I'll be able to bring myself to stand there with a straight glass and point my little finger out as I sup.

How's Guiness for calories then? Or Coider?

Actually Guiness is about the best, cider is about the same as lager.

Nah cider is the worst. I think thats where the misinformation came from actually-Dan's got it confused with cider. I think that is about 700 cals for the rubbish stuff.

My mates been draining that down for the past two weeks non stop cos Somerfield are doing 18 cans of Strongbow for £7.99 the fat fucking plank.

Wrong! Check out the link before you talk cobblers!

;)

Don't get your shellsuit in a twist!!!

I just saw the link now. I wonder how accurate it is actually as I know it was on a bbc diet programme recently that cider is roughly 700 cals a pint.

I think vintage cider on their is close to 600, but normal strongbow etc is more lager like in calories. Doesn't say what Gemmill's favourite Magners is mind. I'm guessing it must have LOADS of calories.

Gemmill will no doubt claim he works that off with his pestle and mortar routine mind.

looks like my personal trainer was scaremongering and feeding me with bullshit information.

still no doubt that premium strength lager is one of the worst drinks going if you're watching your weight.

fucking annoying too. someone needs to invent a light beer that doesn't taste like piss

Just eat healthily (in the main) and do some exercise tbh.

Happy Face should cut down on the pop corn and get off his fat arse tbh.

That's a pot and kettle situation if ever I heard one isn't it? And a rather wide based pot compared to a slim kettle you nerdy, movie based avatar having, fat homunculus.

tbf.

He's like Bryan Adams meets Gordon Ramsay. If you can bear to imagine that.

I reckon that's how I've been losing weight, a reasonable amountof exercise, improving my diet dramatically and switching to Vodka earlier in the night, also helps that I don't have a mixer with it.

No take-aways and generally not eating just before I go to sleep has helped as well.

Spaghetti Alla Trapanese last night. I'm so fucking cosmopolitan. ;)

Had to batter almonds in the pestle and mortar though and the palms of both of my hands are bruised today from the effort.:o

No euphemisms here.

Restaurant watch: spotted out and about at uber lesbian Manchester eaterie 'Lead Station' at the weekend, manc-mag and a mystery brunette. "He ordered the cannelloni but took the desert course home with him” reported one diner "She means he was off to get his massive end away” confirmed her rug-munching, rough-as-toast table mate.

I need some inspiration for todays main meal, really can't think of anything I fancy.

I've got chicken, mince, tuna (steaks and flakes), fresh pasts, new potatoes, basmati rice, every herb and spice under the sun, tomatos, Pak Choi, ORcket, mixed salad, peppers, chillis, "gourmet" sausages, beer, milk, butter, double cream, bread..

No inspiration = tuna pasta with pesto, onions, peppers and a bit of parmesan on top. Always.

And I don't care that you haven't got half those ingredients. ;)

Sounds canny that tbf for minimum fuss.

Aye, easiest thing in the world really, plus it's a one-pan meal if you're willing to fry the onions and peppers first and set them aside. Lazy bloke-tastic!

Fry the peppers and the onions? Starting to sound a bit labour intensive tbh. I want out.
