I was in there last week. Very very average pub fare.

I totally agree, however a tea time combo is basically hard to get wrong. A few garlic mushrooms, garlic bread, chicken fillets, onion rings etc.

I wouldn't go there for a proper meal but a local after work snack is ok, particularly given the range of real ales for a pub in the sticks.

You still have relatives through here?

How weird is it knowing I may know them or have had them in my cab?

 Are you still on your diet, CT? I can never keep track.

Once I shifted the two stone Ive been less hardcore but still eat relatively healthy most of the time. I can pretty much maintain my weight eating this way.

I am building up for another run at getting down to 11/7 which will mean ditching the bread and adding a few more lunch time salads in.

Aye my dad lives over that way. Gran lives in Cleadon. My family do NOT get taxis from the entrance of Asda though, that is the preserve of the peasant.

As I'm months away from being a Grandad I have to say my interest in Grandmas is upping ;)

but that is not controversial CT, you should be focusing your energy towards great grandma's cooking and her buttered rolls.

I call bullshit on those being homemade onion rings.

The tomato slice on top of the pile looks like you sliced it with a spoon. Bury that on the bottom if you want your meal to appeal to us. Will not even mention those tasty looking branches you included. Oh wait...

Nothing like a mountain of raw spring onions with no dressing.

:D

The fish is Straight Outta Iceland too.

Although to be fair to the Granny Banger, he'll claim his post only states the potato chunks are homemade.
