LoveTheBobby 1
Oliver's 15 Minute Meals hasn't had a mention yet ? Looking good, hanging with the wild bunch. Looking good in a Buffalo Stance. Looking good when it comes to the crunch.
Monkeys Fist 43223
Just made chocolate biscuits topped with chocolate Glace icing and grated chocolate with my 5yr old.
Gemmill 46176
Just made a Nigella pasta and lentil broth type thing and there's a pork shoulder covered in stock, apple sauce and mustard in the slow cooker. Just another day in the life of a domestic god.
Alex 35660
Did a lush chilli yesterday. Perfect for this time of year.
ChezGiven 0
We had Confit of Duck yesterday for lunch, its probably my favourite. Served it with Salardaises potatoes (fried in duck fat and garlic) and green beans with shallots (you boil the beans for 2 or 3 mins then add them to frying shallots for 2 minutes). What made it extra special was the 2009 Pomerol which was lush. She'd been swimming and i'd been running in the morning so we felt justified in having the whole bottle with lunch. Fell asleep on the couch whilst the little one had her nap, perfect.

catmag 337
Beans with pizza? What the fucking fuck!? It's only Asda pizza, not Domino's. Yes, pizza and beans!
Gemmill 46176
The brand is irrelevant. There is no appropriate way to eat beans and pizza. Just having them on the same plate is gonna mean the pizza crust soaking up the bean sauce, which is unforgivable. And if you're eating it with a knife and fork and heaping beans ONTO pizza, then God forgive you, cos I can't.
Gemmill 46176
That is an abomination.

Meenzer 15742
Got an itching for something Tex-Mex-ish tonight. Idly formulating plans for burritos with turkey mince and refried beans, chucked in the oven with some salsa/sour cream/cheese on top.
Dr Gloom 22190
hmmmm. mexican. my obsession at the moment is jalapeno salsa. anyone tried this stuff? it's the real deal, not like that tomato crap you get with nachos in most places. my mouth waters just thinking about it. Brock Manson 0
It's all about Mission Burrito in Reading, pendejos. http://www.missionburrito.co.uk/ Funny how burrito places are springing up everywhere at the moment.
Meenzer 15742
Well that worked pretty decently. Refried beans didn't quite have the right consistency, but I suppose it hardly matters when you're shoving it all in the same tortilla. So to speak. Alex 35660
Belfasts burrito place is quality! http://www.boojummex.com/ Is that the place near Queen's on Botanic Avenue? Went there a few times. Basic / canteen-style inside but really nice food? Think the only booze they do is Mex lagers and frozen Margaritas out of a Slush Puppy machine if it's the same one. I really liked the place. Cheap as well.
