Mine was tonight at 6pm, when Pavel Srnicek walked into Harry Ramsdens at the Metrocentre with his family, and ordered himself a special cod fillet meal. Mind you he is a tall bugger so he is. David Ginola backstage party at a concert (the night of the 5-0 ManUre game!), Peter Beardsley in Boots at the MetroCentre the day he was recalled to the England squad. Rob Lee sitting in a crappy restaurant opposite Spanish City Whitley Bay. Nobby many a time in Grosvenor Casino. Jenas checking his balance at the cashpoint, Tescos Four Lane Ends. Martins and Emre daily wandering in and out of the apartments. EDIT: Saw Shola wandering (well hobbling) round the perfume counters in Fenwicks on Christmas Eve. Back in the old training ground in Benwell I once scored a header from a MIck Martin cross. Saw younger players at the time in Baja. Saw Beardsley in the Metro Centre a few times and once saw pav there too.
