Matty 0
Great goal by Lua Lua and 2 good finishes from Carroll who looked very good on the ball throughout. Good crowd of over 1,000 there too.

Matty 0
Is Carroll another Chopra? Don't know in what way you mean that, a promising player who will never make it, or similar in their style of play... Can't really answer if he'll ever make it at the top, but their style of play is completley different with Carroll being fuckin' massive and a good hold up player with a nice touch and a good left foot. I meant the former. Good at all levels apart from first team premiership. I can't see this club ever giving a young striker a proper chance after Shola
sammynb 3342
From nufc.com: The second half saw Carroll continue in his uncompromising style, requiring treatment at one point as he shoulder-charged two City players in an attempt to win the ball. He did continue but shot wide from the only opportunity to complete his hat trick, dropping back in the closing stages of the tie to shackle visiting centre forward Renton.
