Now I've got your attention

Has been getting herself a PC and he's asked me to go up and show her and his fatha how to basically switch it on, browse the net etc. Now this isn't a problem but i wonder if anyone knew of any type of tutorial sites where in their own time the could brush up on their skills, basically anything to save me sitting going through the same thing for hours as I'm guessing they have no IT knowledge whatsover.

Also with me using a Mac all the time and only having to let Norton scan it once a month, I have very little knowledge of firewalls etc so a little info on that kind of thing would be appreciated as well, free downloads etc etc

Thanks in advance people and feel free to move it mods.

Smooth Operator's lass barred him from using the internet round his mam's as well now?

Not yet but what has stopped me is my inability to figure out how to delete the history! She's on BT Yahoo, I can find the history but can't figure out how to delete the bastard.

Anyone any ideas?

If she's using the BTYahoo! browser then:

1. Go to Tools>Browser Options - you can clear URLs from the address bar and clear seaches from the search bar there

2. Tool>Internet Opions also allows you to delete cookies, form data, history and passwords
