David Kelly 1260
My DVD recorder is getting on my fucking nerves. When I put a disk in it keeps saying that the disk cannot be read even if it's a brand new disk (I'm talking films as well as blank disks). But it doesn't do this with every disk some it plays fine but others (even ones that it has played before) just won't work at all. I've tried using a cleaning disk but it's had no effect. Anyone got any ideas other than taking it to a repair shop? I would just bin it and get another cheap one but it cost over £200 less than two years ago so I don't want to ditch it yet. It's a JVC btw.

David Kelly 1260
Cheers Jimbo. I've tried the cd cleaner but it didn't help. I've now discovered that if I just keep ejecting the disk and then retrying it seems to work eventually but it just takes a pissing age. I might try taking the cover off. I'll probably find that the bairn has shoved some toast in there or something!
