AgentFox 0
So I didn't quite make it to SJP at Christmas, but definatley looking to go at the end of February to take my partner and boy to the European match. We are looking to stay at a travel lodge for a couple of nights, can you tell me a little bit about the surrounding areas and which one you would pick if you had to stay in one? Newcastle Central Gateshead Newcastle Whitemare Pool Washington A1( M) Northbound Washington A1(M) Southbound Newcastle Seaton Burn They go in closest order to the stadium
Meenzer 15342
Is there a major difference in price between them all? If not, I can't see any reason to go for anything other than Newcastle Central... the latter might give you problems with parking, but then you'd have that if you drove into town for the match from the other ones anyway... Ally 0
The Whitemare Pool one is fine, stayed there the other week. But as Isegrim says if price is the same, stay at Central and save on the taxi fare.
sweetleftpeg 0
I love the way they call the Seaton Burn one 'Newcastle'. It's in the middle of a roundabout next to fuck all apart from a Little Chef and the A186 or something.

AgentFox 0
Found this one Novotel Right next to Kingston Park station (Green Line)
Gemmill 44090
Just stay in the Newcastle Central one. It's on the quayside and gives you the option of going out somewhere on the night. The others - Whitemare Pool etc are in the middle of nowhere and you'll be taxi-ing it if you want a drink. Seriously, Whitemare Pool is a roundabout. You'd basically be staying at a service station. Guest alex
Found this one Novotel Right next to Kingston Park station (Green Line) Bit of a way out of town in my opinion. Not a great area either (though not too bad). Handy for Tesco though.

Seriously, stop looking and book in at the Newcastle Centre one. NOW.
