Valve Hi-Fi amplifier.

The home Hi-Fi's amplifier is due for an update and I'm thinking about replacing it with a valve amp or an integrated amplifier which features a valve preamplifier and a solid state power amplifier.

Although I've owned lots of valve guitar amplifiers I've never experienced life with a Hi-Fi valve amp.

So are they tedious with their "warming up" and valve aging (thus the sound constantly changing) issues or is it worth it for the sound they produce?

Also if anyone is still a user of vinyl I found this site, http://www.decibelhifi.com.au/, it may interest you.
