MattM4 0
Got this DVD for Xmas (Volver), pop it in last night to watch it... This is the french release, so of course first I am forced to sit through 3 still screen telling me not to buy pirate Dvds. Then I see you can only watch it either in french (dubbed) or in Spanish with french subs. You CANNOT mix and match (ie watch it in its original version and without sibtitles), and you CANNOT change in the middle of the film (pressing the "audio" button) you have to go back into the menu.. I can't believe this... to me this completely negates the whole point of DVDs: Versatility. It's not the first time I've had this happen too. This might as well be a VHS I have. Ridiculous lazy editing. I really wanted to get this film proper but I'll be asking for my money back thank you very much. Quick look on Torrentspy shows me I can get the film exactly as I want it... smudger 0
Never heard of it meself but I know what you mean. You would have thought with a dvd they could have more than 2 audio/subtitle options. Torrentspy has helped me out on more than occasion.
