Been to Sydney before but I'm going the other side this time - Perth. Been there before? Staying in Dubai for a few nights to break the journey up first though. Guest alex Posted January 3, 2007 Share Posted January 3, 2007 I only went to Perth for about a week. Wasn't that impressed but the weather wasn't great. Lovely beaches though and the weather should be fanstastic when you're there. Loved Freemantle (just over the Swan River) and Rottnest Island is worth a trip (about 10-15 miles off the coast) for the quokkas alone (like miniature kangaroos).
