Holden McGroin 6456
I thought he was a rock today. Seems like he prefers to be the senior player and marshall the defence. Hope it continues and he becomes the player we all hope he would/will be. Hunty also seems like a prospect. sammynb 3342
Hunty needs to work on his left foot but considering they're mere bairns lets hope they get the opportunity to continue as the first choice defence if their performance merits it. aimaad22 4086
Very happy his performances this season, and let me make it absolutely clear that my opinion is based on TV coverage Edgar and Huntington need to work on their clearances though

Dr Gloom 21760
he looks a lot better than bramble. edgar looked solid too. you'd never know they were the kids when we count babyaro, carr and bramble among our 'senior pros'.

Remember it looking a stupid idea for Parker to pass it back to Given and thought the ball came a long way across without interception for Ronaldo. Guest alex
Played well, as did the rest of the back four imo. Gram has a hard-on for Bramble though doesn't he?
TheInspiration 1
Taylor's been excellent in recent weeks and really maturing. Compare his performances and leadership to the likes of Bramble and it's just not funny. Frightening to think Roeder was too scared to play him earlier on in this season, because "one bad game doesn't make you a bad defender" - regarsing Titus of course. Just for you Alex Taylor was ball watching on the second in the build up. He gave the ball away too often for my liking. He did ok but I simply think he was average. As for Bramble? Well he isnt good enough.
Guest alex
I can't even remember the second goal tbh. It took the pressure off the back four a bit in the second half though (i.e. Man Utd scoring so early), still thought they played well though. Solano basically knew exactly what Ronaldo was going to do.
Dr Gloom 21760
bramble has to go in the summer. i'd be looking to extend moore's contract by another year, sign one top class centre half and groom the young lads.

There's no need for that! Its good to see that potentially at least we have some young players coming through the ranks who might make it in the prem, though we are a way of knowing that with the ones who've just appeared. Taylor has been far better this season, having gotten over his shoulder injury (twice, thanks to Fuckwitt Souness) and grown in confidence he has looked more like the player alot of fans thought he would be when he first appeared. Obviously still needs to cut out a few rash decisions but all young defenders do and with every new injury to the defence he has seemed to have taken it on himself to play better. smudger 0
I have been impressed by Taylor this season considering his age and lack of experience. He has made a few errors but I prefer him to Bramble.

The ball was played out to Ronaldo who had Solano in front of him with Dyer dropping back in to help, as per usual Parker gets drawn towards the ball (even though there was already 2 players going for it) leaving a hole in the middle for Scholes to step up and score. He also passed it straight back to Given from the second half kick off too, didn't see the point in that at all.

Watch Taylor doing a girly star jump rather than positioning himself properly to attack the ball which is what he should have done. Even his body language tells you he fucked up He played ok generally but no better than that. Nb: Parker was already there and Dyer got drawn to the ball as well. Generally a shit goal to give away

Generally a shit goal to give away Dyer was dropping in to help Solano all match whether Ronaldo was on his side or not, Parker for whatever reason came from out of the CM position towards the ball leaving a huge hole in the middle. The goal all came from Parker kicking it straight back to Given from kick off, why any outfield player would pass a ball back to his keeper knowing he has a slight groin strain and was having trouble with his kicking is ridiculous, we should not have surrendered possession from our own kick off so quickly and cheaply. Parker just can't hold his position, if you look at their first goal Man Utd make him look stupid passing the ball around him, he was trying to close everyone down when there wasn't any need. Parker was there!!!! Already. He had tracked Fletcher (iirc) who was beyond Scholes at that point. Dyer got drawn to a situation and left Scholes who he simply ran past when two men were already there. theres no defence for him there. It would be academic but for the star jumper though

It would be academic but for the star jumper though Truth of the matter is neither Parker or Dyer are holding their positions and both have the headless chicken syndrome. Since Dyer's return it looks like his best position is just behind Martins and Parker isn't a defensive midfielder.
