A poem

Written by Edward Chicken, a miner, in the 18th century.

Dead drunk, some tumble on the floor

And swim in what theyd drunk before

Hiccup cries one 'reach me your hand

The house turns around, I cannot stand'.

So now the drunken, senseless crew

Break pipes, spill drinks, piss, shit and spew.
