Jimbo 175
Well worth a look if you enjoy this mentalist nutter, I went to see this live show earlier this year and was blown away by it. I was in the audience for this specially filmed Derren Brown performance at the Old Vic in London, though I spent most of the time slumped as far down in my seat as it was possible to go, silently begging Brown, "Please don't pick me to go on stage with you." And he didn't, thankfully - not even subliminally with his diabolical powers. Or at least, that's how they seem. Brown is, quite frankly, incredible and devilishly clever. Unsettling, too - there's one don't-try-this-at-home stunt that looks utterly impossible. If it were actually possible, it would surely be horribly bloody and painful. What makes Brown so special is that he's a terrific entertainer, in the real old-fashioned sense, who can control and compel an audience, while well placed shafts of humour don't let things get too weird or serious. It all adds up to a dark and disturbing evening that will leave you shaking your head in wonder. RT reviewer

Guest Patrokles
Yeah, I saw him with my mum a few years back when I was in London. I think he's great, personally.
Jimbo 175
I got his book for xmas, I've been reading up on subliminal influence techniques, I'm going to see if I can use them to seduce myself later....
Guest Patrokles
I bet TV watchdogs get a ton of complaints when teenagers country-wide cut their feet. The daily mail will have a field day.

Guest Patrokles
That Stephen bloke looked like he probably stamps on other people's heads quite a lot as a matter of course.
TheInspiration 1
That glass act was scary. His right eye was worryingly close to the glass, and being stamped on woudln't have helped.
Jimbo 175
That was a shorter version of what I saw live, it was absolutely mesmerising to witness.
