Tooj 17
Saw them for the 3rd time at the Oasis gig in Mcr last month. I was a little underwhelmed if I'm honest. The sound was poor to be fair (guitars were barely audible); but they concentrated on their new album - which at the time wasn't even out. It was difficult to get going when they're playing a load of stuff you've never heard. They missed out loads of their best stuff too as a result. Don't think I'm keen on their new album either I need to listen to it a few more times though before I make a proper decision. The night before Oasis they were at the Academy and played a full setlist but because they were only supporting Oasis they couldn't do everything. I just couldn't understand why they played so many of their new, unknown tracks and left out so many of the really good ones. The crowd were really up for it - the response when they played LSF etc showed it; but it went flat when they played another of their 'unknowns'. Maybe I'm also a little gutted they didn't play a couple of my favourites - including Test Transmission
