Meenzer 15372
Just woke up. Full day's work ahead though, including the magical customer who sets a deadline of one hour on a piece then calls up every five minutes to ask if it's finished yet. Fella's meant to be flying to Heathrow from Serbia tonight. Good luck to him...

Meenzer 15372
Indeed! He's flying with Swiss via Zurich rather than BA, which improves his chances, but we'll see. If it's a comfortable-hotel-in-Switzerland Christmas and New Year, well, that could be worse.

He'd have to be really unlucky for that as Serbian (Orthodox) Christmas isn't til the 7th of January. But I agree with the sentiment, hope it clears up in time Meenzer. manc-mag 1
That building does look shite like, like most manc architecture. I think 'shite' is a bit strong. Might not be the Empire State but it does have some architectural merit. Plus it improves the skyline. We havent got a river or bridges or owt like that so it's a welcome addition. Blatant scouse-o-phile, anti-manc instincts on display there btw.

To have a decent sky line you need at least half a dozen sky scrapers in close proximity, imho. I actually think Manchester is OK as a city, but its flatness and number of brownfield sites close to the centre are negative points. I do prefer Liverpool tbh, naturally. manc-mag 1
Does look a bit...........lego What's not to like tbf? ....and next up, Eastgate Tower...even bigger. Basically as long as we stay ahead of Leeds and Liverpool then I'm happy.
