They're obsession with all things NUFC lead them to mount a campaign as we were apparently ahead of them, though of course none of us could give a shit. I love the fact they do stuff like this yet the board is full of posts claiming NUFC fans are obsessed with Sunderland and think of nothing else! It's basically huge vinyl stickers of club crests and players that you can stick on your walls. I'm planning on decorating my sons room in a Sunderland theme after Christmas, and wrote to ask if they have any plans for making Sunderland Wallbangers as I'd be interested in buying them. I've just got a very rude reply back from the CEO slagging both Sunderland and me off How to lose a potential customer in one easy lesson! There was a team suggestion box on the website, so I dropped a line saying that my son wants me to paint the club crest on his wall, but I'm not confident about doing it. I said a Sunderland crest wallbanger would be an ideal solution, so could they let me know if they have any plans to make one. The reply back said he didn't set up wallbangers as an alternative to medical school (eh?). He said he understood why I wasn't good at something (which annoyed and offended me!). And then said Sunderland were not good at anything either so he probably wouldn't do one for them for a while. I don't mind people joking on here saying I'm not good at stuff, but you just don't expect to get comments like that from total strangers, especially when you're a potential customer. Another favourite is for somebody to post some one off incident (possibly true in some cases) involving a toon fan or geordie and then have a whole thread about us collectively, even though the sensible ones there will point out their fans have done the same or worse!
