Southern Geordie 1
Basically, I'm absaloutely bricking it.. Got a letter through today from the police about some anti social behaviour that took place on November 20th... And well, the story was that me and my mates had to give our names to the police 3 weeks ago cos ONE of my mates put some road bollards on the road. Think the purpose of the letter is to scare me, but the gist of it was that they have been asking the residents of the area what causes them stress and stuff.. and that my behaviour on the 20th november was one of the things that they don't enjoy as it impairs their day to day affaird (or something). They said if I get caught again further action will be taken. Is it worth ringing the number and telling them it wasn't me ? Or just try and behave.. Which is quite hard being a student as police see moving road bollards as a criminal offence
Southern Geordie 1
By the way, they said no further action will be taken but I have a black dot next to my name and one more act of anti social behaviour and I get thrown out of uni, which is totally unfair

Southern Geordie 1
Thing is though I'd happily take the blame if it was me on that occasion, however it's only me thats gotten the letter out of the 6 of us that gave our names! It's unlikely they'd send them on different days surely.
Brock Manson 0
Only encounter I've had with the police was hockey-related. Sounds mighty strange, but best see what happens. Could always be an admin error?

Guest Toplass-101
Rather then police trying to scare you, is the purpose of the letter not ya mates winding ya up ?
TheInspiration 1
Surely you should inform your friend of this. If he's a good friend he'll admit it was him. If he won't admit it was him, he's not an honest guy so you should say it was him. There, simple. I hope.

Kid Dynamite 7174
You deserve to be locked up for conforming to the student stereotype of fannying around with traffic cones/signs tbh.

Southern Geordie 1
Spoke to a copper at football training tonight about it. Said to bring the letter to saturday's game.. That I've got nothing to worry about really. It's defo not my mates winding me up (at least I don't think) as the letter seems pretty damn professional. Ally 0
So the policeman is a tit because he opened a boot when someone had said, 'trust me you don't want to open it'. Right...
WubbleUC 0
They're just giving you a slap on the wrists man, it's probably something they send out to put the shits up you, send you on a guilt trip, and make you think twice about doing it again. If they wanted to take it further they'd have done it by now.
