Walliver 0
I'm dragging this up again, anyone fancy giving me a few more tips? I bought two albums from recommendations earlier on - Liam Frost's is brilliant, the Dresden Dolls' is pretty poor. One band I've taken quite a liking to recently is Malbec: www.myspace.com/malbectheband

Guest Patrokles
Wouldn't know where to start. Don't bother then. Fair play, I could have recommended him the Arctic Monkeys. That way he'd only need to download one of their songs to have heard them all.

Steve 0
The last album I bought is the most fantastic album I've heard in a long time. Anonymous by Tomahawk. Mike Patton is so dreamy. Sigh.

Mowen 0
If you liked Death Cab try Postal Service, anything of Give Up is good, but I'm especially a fan of Sleeping in.

I've got Give Up already, particularly like Sleeping In and Nothing Better. What else can you give me along these lines?

Maybe not along exactly the same lines, but in a simlar vein I quite like British Sea Power, Open Season's a good album.

Kendrick Lamar What else do I need? Tame Impala is very disappointing. Not sure if you float that way but J Mascis latest solo and Dinosaur Jr's latest are worth a listen. Neil Halstead's new one also gets a 5 acoustic guitar thumbs up

Ayatollah Hermione 13894
Daffy's Elixir by Bryan Scary is my favourite album of the year. ELO-type pop with loads of time changes and heavy bits.
