janu 0
From .co.uk Toon Pair Back In Training GLENN Roeder was handed a double injury boost on Friday morning when Kieron Dyer and Damien Duff stepped back out onto the training field. Roeder said last week that he was monitoring Dyer "day-by-day" after the midfielder suffered a badly gashed leg in the 1-0 home win over Portsmouth last month. And the England international made a welcome return to training on Friday as the squad finalised their preparations for Saturday's trip to Ewood Park to take on Blackburn Rovers. Duff, meanwhile, had to undergo knee surgery after picking up an injury in the 1-1 draw at Arsenal but was able to leave the gym this morning and start some light running work with the physios. From todays Chron Meanwhile, Roeder says reports that United have agreed a £2.5m fee with Zenit St Petersburg for their striker Alexander Kerzhakov are "complete rubbish". Aye, we need to watch him at least 37 times before we decide whether we're going to bid or not.

Dr Gloom 22345
if dyer and duff are back for blackburn i fancy our chances of making it three wins on the bounce. we could finish the weekend nearer midtable than the bottom. vital that we do with chelsea coming up. lose blackburn and we could be right back in the shit. it's a tight league this year. 40 points might not be enough to stay up

Barney 0
Stephen Carr out for over a month with a bruised toe. The way Roeder talks about him, I fear that he'll walk right back into the side in place of Nobby.

luckyluke 2
It seems with Dyer they just give him weeks off regardless how seriously the injury is.
