Postage and packaging

Dell take the piss - I ordered a RAM chip for a laptop the other day and the quote provided included a P&P charge of £7.50. As it was a business order I didn't give it much thought until today when the parcel turned up. See for yourself:

How fucking gratuitous?? Anyone got any similar examples?

The orders for my work are ridiculous as well. We'll order 5 binders and we'll get a box just right for five binders which will have four in it and then a geet big box with room for 20 binders with one in it.

That looks like desktop memory tbh. How big is your laptop?

Nope it's laptop memory for a Latitude C610

That's fucking huge!

(bet that's the first time you've heard that )

EDIT (the packaging for the memory by the way)

There's a bit of a theme if you look at the outer box which is kind of my point! ;)

well overkill on the P&P or not, I now have 4 times the memory I had previously and it's running like a dream.

I'm almost glad the old chip blew up! :)
