Gemmill 47718
Anyone else seen this? If you're heading southbound on the Tyne Bridge, there's a big Hollywood-sign sized flashing sign on top of Tyne Bridge Tower (the scabby office block on your left on the south side of the bridge) flashing on and off with the words NOTFORYOU. What's all that about?

Gemmill 47718
It's "art" apparently. Pulling my fucking piss pipes tbh. http://www.visitnewcastlegateshead.com/1982/Glow_Trail.html

Guest alex
I reckon the glow trail thing is a good idea. Quite clearly, not for Scott though.
Gemmill 47718
I reckon the glow trail thing is a good idea. Quite clearly, not for Scott though. I just wonder how much money is getting spent on the whole thing tbh. And that "NOTFORYOU" thing, alright it's piqued my interest and got me asking what it is, but it's hardly art. I came over the swing bridge on the way back from work last night and could see the pink or purple lights shining on some building, and the polka dots they were swirling around the quayside and it looked alright, but "NOTFORYOU" is pap! When I did GCSE art I did it for a skive and would just come up with rubbish ideas that involved the least work possible. I can't help but think that a lot of "artists" are making a lot of money doing the same thing.

Renton 22684
I was wondering what all these strange glowing lights were outside my work. Personally, I think it looks great.

Sima 0
If any bloke on the street decided to put 20ft flashing letters on top of a building he'd be considered stupid. If you've got an Art Degree though......

peasepud 59
I have to admit to quite liking this glow stuff, currently as I type the Keep is lit up in a red glow, theres the shadows of trees bathing an otherwise nondescript grey tower block, searchlights buzzing round the banks, the millennium bridge is a nice pinky colour and theres a giant kaleidoscope spinning on the wall next to Flynns.
