zico martin 95
Hi gang Ive just bought two of these £65 from argos for my kids' christmas and after testing them with some copied DVDs (Im not risking the kids losing the originals!) I am happy enough with them. My first question though is whether it is feasible to attach them to the backs of the car seats in any way and how? I'd also be interested to hear other peoples feelings on these as with it being Argos there is plenty of time to change/ return them for other models. cheers http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Produc...er/5334908.htm
MattM4 0
Funny, I was thinking about these the other day as they were giving them out on a tv show. Had me thinking, never in a million years would I probably go out and buy one, but if I happened to win, I'd probably use it all the time.

Hers came with a carry pouch scenario with velcro straps to secure it around the headrest of the car seat. Not sure if you can purchase them seperately ?? khay 10
Hey, I work at Argos and you are not allowed to return your goods once they have been used! Unless you manage to get it back into the original packing....

Unless you manage to get it back into the original packing.... Ive had no problems in the past - most of the time they dont even check to see what's in the box, which always makes me feel like an opportunity missed! Knowing my luck though if I took back a box full of stones they would be sure to look inside!
Guest alex
I've never seen the point in them, although keeping kids entertained in the back of the car makes sense I suppose.
Barney 0
I got a present of one from my girlfriend for my birthday. Good for long flights, and I used it loads when I went away during the summer. Not much use other than that though. If I commuted on a bus/train I'd probably get more use out of it. Short battery life is a pain though. My mate got a player with 2 screens for his nippers in the car. He swears by it, as it practically raises the kids buy itself. http://www.argos.ie/webapp/wcs/stores/serv...clickfrom=image

Perhaps for a (eg) train journey..but then I'd just get my laptop out.

Its a must have because of all the travelling we do for racing and also when we have to stop overnight, its good to get into bed and watch a dvd.
