Hatful Of Hollow 0
Was watching this the other night, and I remembered how I read some comments (on here or N-O, not sure) about how a lot of people didn't rate the show, and thought it was overrated, which I was surprised at. Personally I love pretty much all of the earlier episodes, and most of the later ones, it's just the last few that left me disappointed, most comedies that run for a prolonged period of time end up becoming stale and unimaginitive. This didn't happen with OFAH 'til quite late on in it's run I feel, the fact that Damien's character was an annoying Ali G-type kid didn't help like. I was reading the other day that there may be a prequel, in which a younger Del is shown, this sounds awful, and hopefully won't go ahead. So, you a fan or not? Dr Kenneth Noisewater 0
I liked it but not in an overboard, best-thing-ever sort of way. They should have stopped it when they found that watch or compass or whatever it was and they became millionaires. Everything after that was desperately poor in comparison to what had gone before. Agreed, Del Boy with money wasn't anywhere near as funny as Del Boy without money.

manc-mag 1
Agreed with all comments. Ironically the one line in the show that should have dated more than anything else due to overuse is still the one that makes me laugh the most-the one where Trigger constantly refers to Rodney as Dave. Culminating in: "He's naming the baby Rodney....after Dave". On a par with "Don't tell them, Pike!" tbh.
David Kelly 1219
I've got nearly all of the tapes but I don't have a video to watch them on any more and I really don't see myself getting them on DVD. I used to love them and still think they were great up to when they got the money but I rarely leave them on for more than a couple of minutes when they're on the telly now. I just can't be bothered to watch them any more. I've never seen any of the spin off with Boycie.
wykikitoon 19863
Love and was a member of the OFAH Appreciation Society when I was younger But it was spoilt when the show ran on after they became millionaires That was the perfect time to stop. The bit in an early episode when Rodney pulls him up on it and he actually calls him Rodney so he can stick him with the tennents association job is comedy gold tbh. Gemmill 44265
I never watch that channel. Probably worth taping some Partridge though. God I'm so bored I even made this reply. I was just thinking it, but that wasn't enough to alleviate my boredom.
