Bastards on the bus

As has already been said Polish people have every right to be here. Also what the govt hasn't actually pointed out fully is we have a desperate shortage of both skilled and unskilled workers. Due to british born charva's refusing to do a day's work and preferring to rip off the dole and burgle. Asylum seekers are generally fleeing persecution and torture. Africans in certain countries for example may be fleeing the religious malitia groups who kidnap children and make them kill their own parents as part of the initiation into their army. Illegal immigrants are the people who aren't fleeing persecution and are unable to validly get a work permit in the country. If the media didn't make so much money by spewing vitriol and engendering an atmosphere of hatred and fear they might actually help the situation rather than throw fuel on the fire.

I gave my seat up for a granny on the metro the other week. She could hardly believe it as practically no one does it now unfortunately. Yes, that's right even white Anglo Saxon types have no manners in general.

Going back to the original post, presumably this was rush hour. If I was an OAP's, due to not having to work, I'd get an earlier bus home to get a seat with my shopping.

I pretty much always stand on the metro anyway to avoid any human contact with its diseased inhabitants, but on the odd occasion where I've sat down, if there's any pregnant lasses, old birds or old blokes get on I'll get up and let them sit down...

....UNLESS they get on and before I've had a chance to get out of my seat start tutting and making comments about how no one ever gets up these days. Then I don't like to disappoint them by proving them wrong.

You can tell it's happening less though because there's genuine surprise when you actually do get up for someone. It wouldn't even occur to the PARENTS of the current generation of charver tramps to do it, so there's no way their kids will.

Rather than a 'generic' post about how I always give my seat up if I see old (no jokes please) or females standing, I am a bit saddened to hear about the demise of this common courtesy.

What used to be a big part of being a north-easterner was the common courtesy extended to people less able than ourselves.
