Smooth Operator 10
I was driving through town last night and as I was crawling through the traffic I past a bus that was jammed packed. I noticed that all the seats were taken by what looked suspiciously like eastern european asylum seekers, and the people standing were all old English grannies straining under the weight of their shopping bags. I was suitably disgusted by the sight, I was stuck next to the bus for a good 5 minutes and not 1 person from what I could see got up to offer one of the elderly a seat. Reckon in those situations the drivers should get out from their seat and sort it out.

That post reminded me of just about every Jack Black storyline out of Viz btw. Quality!
manc-mag 1
I love the way Smooth's eyewitness testimony to their being foreign asylum seekers and the grannies all having shopping came from his vantage point sat in his car in heavy traffic. If I was a bus driver I wouldn't move the fucking thing until all over 60's were sat down.
Renton 21231
Reminds me of a Jimmy Carr joke - I'd rather see a pregnant woman stand than a fat woman cry.

I was in my elevated Mitsubishi L200 man, I can see everything from that vantage point. The bus was heading up towards Fenham so it's a stone cold FACT that they were all Asylum seekers! And the Grannies were doubled over so I could only conclude they were either carrying shopping bags full of xmas presents for their families or that they were giving free "blowies" to the dirty "seekers" as part of a new directive by the Home Office to make them feel more at home. I went surprisingly for the shopping bag theory!

Seekers to be deported to their country of origin (or Poland, its-all-the-same-isn't it?) Costs in the sum of £1,000, to be paid for by the Seekers in the vouchers of their choice. luckyluke 2
The thing that I love about this ill-informed rants is the terminolgy. People throw around words like "asylum seekers" and "illegal immigrants" interchangably without the faintest idea what they mean. For example, IF these people were Polish it is EXTREMELY unlikely that they are seeking asylum. Polish, foreign, I guess it all means the same eh? I'd say it's even impossible as they already have the right to come to the country due to freedom of establishment and service in the European Union. Bombadil 0
To be honest, I find the sight of old people needlessly getting in everyone's way during rush time a lot more annoying. Old people should be legally forced to do their shopping in the afternoon.

I too look forward to the first custodial sentence handed down to a pensioner who forgot to get their bovril during the week. Mind you, on the inside they'd just learn even worse times to go shopping.
