A baldy wine ponce and bitter drinking hippy take a wine tasting trip with hilarious results.

Anyone watch it? Canny funny I thought.

I've always fancied being able to tell the difference between a Chilean and Australian cabernet but this was no help to be honest, it all looks the same when it comes out. James May is a funny bloke though.

Any wine ponces on here?

I'm a wine ponce and I liked the film 'Sideways' too. Haven't seen this though. Oz Clarke is canny though.

Edit: I'm actually a baldy wine ponce.

And she comes up with again and again. :D

But this thread reminds me on that I basically totally run out of wine. A big order is a must, a box of 'Laughing Magpie' top priority.

If you want my advice you should see what grape varieties you like in New World wines then buy French or Italian wines made with the same ones. You tend to have to pay a little bit more for a decent 'Old World' wine though. If you like wine though, there are French ones (and Italian too probably) you will like.
