I'm gonna put it out there and say didn't he get shot in Wallsend?

Aye, Viv Graham was shot in or outside some pub on Wallsend High Street. The car that his killers used was dumped in Heaton, at the top of my back lane.

I remember there were loads of Police around near mine.

Loads of kids at school used to reckon they knew Viv Graham, and used to go around threatening other kids and teachers that they'd get Viv on to them.

Then after he died the same kids were going around writing Viv RIP on tables and on their ties in Tippex.

Remember the old Tom Sawyer TV series. It was class. I can still remember the theme tune.

Aye, I used to love it. The books (The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn) are class too.

The books are excellent like. Although a middle aged white english teacher reading them out to you in a piss poor deep south accent was painful, especially Jim the slave.

I will NEVER forget my first English lesson in senior school, and the great big camp English teacher announcing that he would start the reading. The room fell silent..............and then in this awful high-pitched attempt at an American accent:

"TOM! TOM! Where IS that boy?!"

:D
