David Kelly 1309
I really can't be bothered with this. I like him but I find most of his albums too long and only really enjoy them if I have the time to spare to listen all the way through. This just seems like too much of an effort for me. ChezGiven 0
Heard some of the new stuff at the Barbican gig a couple of weeks ago. Class. Have to say this is one of those artists that is so much better live than on record. Horn section during Jacksonville will live long in the memory. David Kelly 1309
B'ah humbug! I just get the feeling I would be getting it just because it's him and not because it's something I want to hear.

It's not on particularly heavy rotation even at festive times.
Guest Patrokles
His pre-Michigan stuff is patchy at best. Having said that, the Xmas stuff is pretty good. Having said THAT, you'll never listen to it at any other point in the year because it is VERY Xmas-y. I suppose to complete HF's picture of me I need to recommend a better, alternative Xmas album; I'd suggest Christmas by Low, or the Phil Spector one. I'm not really a Xmas person (don't mind it in terms of being off, but find it a bit of a joke) but I love the Phil Spector album. Reminds me of being a bairn.
