Rob W 0
Men injured in drive-by shooting Serious Crime Squad detectives are investigating a double shooting in East Dunbartonshire in which two men were injured and a dog was shot dead. The men, aged 25 and 26, were shot at about 2155 GMT while visiting friends in Clelland Avenue, Auchinairn. Both were taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary, where the 26-year-old is in a critical condition. The other man has leg injuries and is stable. Police said a number of shots were fired at the men from a car. Both men had driven to Clelland Avenue in a BMW X5 car and met a couple who were driving a black Mercedes ML350. They were talking in the street, when either one or two cars approached them - possibly a dark Mondeo or a silver Ford Focus car. A number of shots were fired. Det Insp Jim Henderson said: "I am anxious to trace anyone who saw any vehicles travelling at speed in the area prior to and after the incident. I am keen to speak to anyone who saw these vehicles last night, witnessed the shooting or has any information that may help trace those responsible."
