no your right its about 1 in 6 really i'd reckon, my hand slipped.

he has great technique in attacking players its the final ball that wins games though. he's also not the worlds quickest. but he does have time to improve.

as a comparison lok at robert, a player that displayed some bizzare technique, had a bit of speed when he could be arsed but could cross the ball perfectly... ask shearer who got most of his assists and the gallic lad would be up there..

Is the problem all our midfielders/wide players are suffering just down to lack of decent forward players making runs and making options??

I haven't seen as much of the team as you lot, but against Sheff Utd (and what I've managed to see on tv) the midfielders didn't exactly have a great deal of movement up front for them to pass to, which, in consequence, makes them dilly/dally on the ball and subsequently makes them look a bit poorer than they actually are?

Fair point - a lack of movement and then when a wide player does get into a good position the cross has to be perfect (like Milner's against Palermo) for there to be a chance of a goal as we've nobody who is good in the air. 'Planning'.

Not only from the strikers up front, but from the central midfield as well. In recent games when Duff had the ball, I noticed a couple of times this expression, where he points with both of his hands to the ball and looks up as to say "I have the ball, what can I do? Give me options!"
