gram 0
Just read a thread about him on the kids forum. Personally think he is utter bollocks. They seem impressed with his occasional stepover then booting the ball into the stands. Thoughts on the lad?
TheInspiration 1
I seem impressed with the fact he's been one of our best players in recent weeks, so I don't know why you're whining so much.
Sima 0
Does so well to beat his man, then just fucks it up EVERY single time.
MattM4 0
Does so well to beat his man, then just fucks it up EVERY single time. That is my sentiment too. As long as he can't produce a decent cross regularly, I'd rather we played Solano, who maybe won't run past 3 players, but can float a proper ball in from anywhere. wykikitoon 20758
Milner can put some good balls in too when he puts his mind to it. Its a tough one. He does graft to fuck like.
TheInspiration 1
If his crosses improved greatly though, he'll be awesome. Sadly that's not going to happen here.
ewerk 31216
He managed 7 assists last season which is more than any of our players bar N'Zogbia.
Tobias 0
I enjoy watching him play he needs to be able to put his good runs to use by finishing off a chance or setting someone else up. Amazing cross for Luque against Palermo though
MattM4 0
I hate watching him play tbh. The lack of any end product was so annoying! Watching him waste every single ball he had against Fenerbahce was horrible.
Tobias 0
He is fustrating but I think he could learn fingers crossed. I would always play N'Zogbia

Bombadil 0
Going by what I've seen of him so far and in the full knowledge that I'm not really in the best position to comment on individual players' performances, I just don't rate Milner at all. Yes, he works hard and runs around a lot, but there is simply not enough end product from him. He can't cross and he hasn't exactly got the pace either. I don't think he'll ever be more than a decent player for a mid-table team - which, to be fair, would be more than good enough for us at the moment... Â I'd still play other players ahead of him on the right.
Ally 0
I think he's awful. Was utter rubbish in his first season here, looked reasonably good at Villa and he's come back just as bad as he was before. He's also the slowest winger i've ever seen, are full backs meant to be worried when he has the ball?
Isegrim 9906
He managed 7 assists last season which is more than any of our players bar N'Zogbia. Â Didn't Villa play him in the centre? Â No. Â And in the few games I watched he put in some decent crosses. Like the one he put in against Palermo. It's just that he is not getting them in more regularly. But on the other hand he is still quite young. IMHO some people are a bit too critical. Ayatollah Hermione 14059
Considering he puts in the graft after we fucked him around in August, it's good in some respects but, like said, it's frustrating to see him be so inconsistent with his performances. Â But he's only 20 (?). Plenty time left for him to fully develop.

tinofbeans 91
not a winger tbh... hes a rubbish inside forward being played out of position..... as you'll all testify by his 1 in 18,069584832 cross success ratio.
Holden McGroin 6785
Harsh. He still has many years for improvement. Reminds me of Joe Cole. If he sorts his final ball out he wll be a v. good player.
Paul 0
Been one of our best players so far this season (I know, that's not saying much). As others have said, he's still only young, and some people are far too hard on him. I personally think he can develop into a very good player. Guest alex
I still think Milner is pretty average. I quite like him as he has a good work ethic / attitude on the pitch and he has a couple of tricks. But he lacks pace and his crossing is poor and I can't see how he managed all those assists last season. I thought the bit late on against Man City where he turned the defender inside out then put the ball into touch summed him up. He has been messed about here though. Chaser 1261
Does it not say something when he was poor in his first season with us, pretty decent at Villa while he was there and then garbage again when he came back?
