Ted Maul 0
If they make a formal bid and Shepherd tells them to fuck off i'll lynch the twat. If they make a formal bid and Shepherd grudingly accepts and walks away from Newcastle, both the club and the city... I'll still be tempted to rustle up a posse and lynch the twat. I'll just let him eat himself to death if he does that.
Bombadil 0
I'm surprised no-one has mentioned West Ham's take-over - it could be potentially disastrous for us as they are yet another club competing with us for a European place and good players. Toonpack 9978
http://www.nufc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsD...~930070,00.html Chairman Bored Of Takeover Talk NEWCASTLE United chairman Freddy Shepherd says endless speculation about takeovers at the club is now getting "boring". Saturday morning again saw newspaper speculation about a takeover at St. James' Park, but the Toon supremo insists there is nohing to report. He told nufc.co.uk: "Stories about takeovers seem to have been going on for so long now, that it is actually getting boring. "In fact, these stories are now so old they are in danger of growing a beard. "It's very simple. If there was a bid put in, I'm obliged to report it to the Stock Exchange and to the shareholders and I would certainly do that. "There has been no bid put in for Newcastle United Football Club. "Off the pitch any club, any business gets damaged when people are constantly referring to bids or one thing or another." Whoever said he is becoming like Comical Ali is spot on. he is quite clearly shitting it I bet he's looking forward to the due dilligence report

AgentFox 0
So comical Ali is starting to look like a clown with pie on his face NO MR BIG BUT £150M TOON BID IS 'SERIOUS'By Simon Bird FREDDY SHEPHERd has been assured that the Belgravia Group are totally "serious" about pushing through a £150million-plus takeover of Newcastle United. Newcastle have opened up their accounts to Belgravia, who are understood to have completed their "due diligence", checking the finances are in order before agreeing a final price. Chairman Shepherd has held meetings with Belgravia in London over the sale of his 28 per cent stake - but has claimed they are not coming up with the right cash. Sir John Hall and son Douglas have also been in lengthy talks over cashing in on their 40 per cent holding. Belgravia, a "discreet" investment group, are keen take full control in the next few weeks - despite sceptics claiming they are not serious. Ted Maul 0
Why do I expect him to go on SSN if this takeover happens and be standing infront of a removal van claiming that "These stories are so old they're in danger of growing a beard".
