Guest Patrokles Posted November 11, 2006 Share Posted November 11, 2006 I went out for pizza tonight with the family. Mid-way through the starters, all the power went out. We hung around a bit, but nothing doing really. They told us we should probably just finish up, pay for the starters and head home. Just as we were settling up, the power came back on, so we stuck around. However, the upshot of all this was that three of the pizzas were a bit overdone (though still entirely edible). They apologised and told us they were cooking some replacement ones. So we had three spare pizzas. Subsequently, they brought over 2 replacement but forgot mine altogether. Then they brought me the wrong one. Then they brought me an extra one, and the correct one. Other mishaps ensued. They offered to box up the overshoots. THE UPSHOT?
