Also her falling victim of a strict/unforgiving border regime is quite amusing.

I watched the Bill and Ted sequel last night - it was predictably disappointing but I realised I now "see" Keanu Reeves as John Wick (I really like those films).
-
I've switched the Bluetooth off now - it wouldn't make any difference to me if I was asked to self isolate but I'm spending next weekend with my lass and I'm not risking that.
-
I know it's a generalisation but I've always thought England fans who go to the matches (especially abroad) are the creme de la creme of every club's scum. I'm sure plenty families go to Wembley as well but the standard "blokes" are over represented by knuckle draggers.
-
It was simpler for me - couple of verifications but no passport or photo stuff. It might be because I have a different app linked to my GP for prescription ordering which it might have used the data from.

The Entirely Reasonable Potential Transfers Thread
NJS replied to Ayatollah Hermione's topic in Newcastle Forum
Willock might turn out to be another Kenedy - excellent half year loan then shite for a full year. -
Grimsby, 93, promotion, same place, exactly the same reason given.

Commute is 10 minutes car + 35 minutes by train + 15 minute walk - it's the train that's making me nervous - they're cess pits of infection in normal times and I think even with a mask the overcrowding will be bad - I might be wrong of course. They've reduced the office space to a 50% occupation rate to cater for the brave new world of hybrid working - in all honesty I'd be happy with one day a week in the office and I reckon two will be acceptable - of course other people will see things differently depending on kids, house arrangements etc.

That moment when we came out of Wembley after that match and the heavens opened is one of the darkest moments of my life - I even entertained for a moment the idea that there was a god and he was a cunt who hated us.
-
Usual lucky WFH fucker caveat but I'm nervous about going back to the office - my boss said this morning he thinks there's going to be almost no pressure from on high at the moment so I'm hoping the general consensus that's its poor timing is pretty common.
-
I'm not as bad watching Newcastle as I used to be - I've been going out with my lass for five years and I've told her that even the dark side she sees now when I watch a game when she's there is nothing compared to the old me which I think in a way is healthier mentally but I still yearn like fuck for the days when it was a matter of life and death and I was frankly mental about it

I still don't really support England though I can get invested emotionally occasionally like in Italia 90 or this time around. I suppose I've always associated it with the negatives like Newcastle players being ignored in favour of the Geoff Thomas's of this world and others just there because they play for London clubs as well as players I actively disliked like Rooney. That's before the No Surrender brigade are considered. I still think it doesn't compare with following NUFC (although I couldn't help thinking about this season and last under Bruce on Sunday night) - I remember having a conversation with someone at work after France 98 where they asked if "normal" football compared with watching England and I replied that she should think of how she felt watching the Argentina game and multiply that by 38 times a year - she asked how we could cope and I think my reply was "alcohol".

The way the vaccination figures are going, some EU countries are going to overtake the UK soon.
-
I thought if we waited till everyone was fully vaccinated before fully opening up the virus would be so diminished it would be all but over. A few weeks ago considering the percentage of cases which were the old variant that scenario was on track. Then the Johnson variant arrived and fucked everyone's arses again. The tories choice of date removed any chance of lube for this bumming. As Renton says fear of death has reduced but its the opportunity for mutations that scares me.
-
Can't call the Italians for cheating after that.
-
Everyone fully vaccinated including kids older than 12 would be my best case scenario.
-
I agree but I don't really understand given the purchase surpluses.
-
I was on the tube last Friday and as well as noting the "seat gap" rules were now being ignored compared with a month ago, of the six people sitting opposite me, 4 were rocking the mask not covering their nose look so I think there's a tendency towards non-compliance anyway. In general I think they've miscalculated in thinking everybody will embrace "normality" and the economy will be boosted - a lot of nervous/sensible people will simply not go into shops or bars with no masks or distancing if they feel uncomfortable and it could actually reduce footfall.
-
He said there's no obvious endpoint to do it and nobody screamed "how about when every fucker's vaccinated! ".
-
I'd like to think people with kids would wake up to the fact they're being chucked under the bus but I suppose the tory base have proven time and time again they don't give a fuck about young people or anything that affects them.
-
It's still packed trains that's my biggest worry rather than masks themselves. Maybe the supposed hybrid working pattern with less travelling will make it tolerable but we'll see.
-
It's like the champions league 3 years ago with Henderson..... "Can anyone remember a Geordie captaining a side winning the European Cup?" It took about 2 minutes for people to reel off Charlton, Clark and Carrick. Fucking thick Mackem bastards the lot of them.
-
Cunt-off in the semi-final now.
-
Mutations still make me nervous but I accept we can't hold off forever. Still think we should vaccinate the kids.

My limited knowledge is that all the banks and I'm guessing other financial services companies planned for the worst case scenario of no deal from the start and shifted operations to offices elsewhere. We moved all EU client services to Dublin but I assume others chose other cities as appropriate. Billions in assets were also moved. It's affected jobs obviously and also tax revenues will reduce - I'm sure thick cunt Brexiteers will ignore the lost revenue and expertise as they're too stupid to understand it (CT). On the bright side were all setup to become a tax evasion monster without US or EU oversight - almost as if that was a motivation for those in power.
