The wording of the rules was "a work event deemed essential" - if he's been lawyered I'd suggest a new one. Unless they claim letting off steam/rewarding so called hard work is essential.

I knew the end was due so started it last week and I'm 3 in. So far so good though its a bit less full on than the original which I think is probably for the better.

The Entirely Reasonable Potential Transfers Thread

The high pitched whine would have set off every dog in the NE. -
I have a slightly older model of the Jabra ones from Renton's review and they're excellent.

Hard work does not equate to salary.
-
And anyone who equates household finances to countries is ignorant.
-
Because they believe the ultimate tory myth that all you need is to work hard to prosper. Also doesn't help that so many of their voters are retired and unaffected by wage value.
-
Don't they refer to the IRA as "the lads" in Ireland? - makes sense if that's true.

The Entirely Reasonable Potential Transfers Thread

It's hard because one of the FCB's biggest crimes was selling off the land the previous owners had bought and earmarked for stadium development. Beyond that a lot of the land is owned by the freemen of the city and its use is limited - that's what stopped us building a new ground in the late 90s. -
I reckon more people in the UK will have had one or more of those than have had a covid vaccination so the scale is larger. Also the effects of the of the near eradication of polio and TB are triumphs.

The accusation came from a typically hard line Israeli ambassador. I did like the comment that Starmer was scrambling to find out if she was a Labour member so he could expell her.

It is because the establishment uses nepotism and school identity to exclude minorities and other unwanteds - obviously an added class element as well of course.
-
Said there was no such thing as white privilege while ignoring his own nepotism based career. It's not just him of course, the extent of nepotism/inbreeding in British acting is fucking shocking.

J&J and AZ are both very much traditional vaccines - probably even more so than Novovax.

Not purity, just think private money with a cost has no place in public services. The investment was fine but should have been funded differently. I'd like to see a comparison of the long term costs of pfi versus public borrowing.

Don't believe in knighthoods for anyone. Most people on here admire him but I'll never forgive him for failing to undo any of Thatcher's crimes.
-
If my plan had been followed versus classic and delta where vaccination all but eliminated transmission then we'd never have got this far.
-
I've never been a parent so don't know whether things have changed and I can't ask mine but I'm not sure that the modern concept of freedom to refuse applied to things like polio and bcg vaccinations. Maybe it was a hangover from the war but people were more accepting of coercion up until the development of the choice culture under Thatcher. I think when it's "the greater good" then things like seat belts and water treatments and yes vaccinations aren't the end of the world but I fully accept the decision making of what that justification is does possibly take us down a dodgy road. I don't think this one is that dodgy, that's all.
-
Isn't there hepatitis mandates for some health care workers already? As I think I mentioned before when my brother in law qualified as a marine engineer he couldn't go to sea without cholera and a couple of other mandatory vaccinations - simply no job without them.
-
What about people who can't work from home and don't have sick pay who live with vulnerable people who have to therefore go out and catch it from unvaccinated, unmasked freedom warriors? It's the latter who need to be coerced.

I know that sometimes I'm over idealistic and I know at least 35% and more of the people in this country are willing to vote tory but I've been impressed to an extent by the community spirit so far especially the general support for lockdowns. However the stubborn number of selfish toddlers who point blank refuse to give a shit about other people citing freedom, basic lack of scientific knowledge or just plain cuntishness is absolutely maddening. As I've said before when it comes to threats to society on this level I'd have no problem with Chinese and beyond levels of authoritarianism in terms of internment, compulsory enforced isolation and even compulsory vaccination. If you think those measures are too much then I hope you aren't a British exceptionalist war worshipper because all of those are "normal" wartime measures. We're going to struggle with this shit for years now because of pandering to the toddlers by the toddlers in charge all because of the me, me, me generations.

To any country not in the EU - not out of spite.
-
Like the Australian one that fucks British farmers, cop26 and animal welfare? Nothing stopped EU countries signing vaccine deals. The head start was mainly AZ which was more luck than judgement.

I see the messy haired cunt has said he can't implement the promised vat reduction on fuel because "it's complicated". He also said anyone who voted remain can't question why a promised benefit can't be done.

Anyone willing to share their memories and information?
