Hopefully sold to the cockney Barry Moat.
  2. West Brom have just conceded an horrificly hilarious goal where a Huddersfield player charged down the keeper and scored off his arse. The Cabbage is not happy or appreciated.
  3. I'll never forgive them for that terrace behind the goal at the dell which when it was fenced meant you couldn't see the fucking game. (See also Coventry and Oxford for the same thing at various times).

Yeah but the Iraqis weren't backed by Putin like the Syrians so here we are.

Going all Rayvin before he gave up, from an objective point of view, the world could have easily considered several US invasions/actions as sanctionable.

Sounds good but the Tories wouldn't pass anything that actually worked (or that workarounds weren't already in place or possible for).
  7. Exactly - Tango skinned two headed vermin cunt stitched us up good and proper. Compounded by Andy Durso refereeing the match appallingly and not giving a blatant foul in the run up to the winner. That cost us a very slim outside chance of winning the league.
  8. I still feel sorry for the poor cunt waiting for Sting to ring him and personally refund his Amnesty donation.
  9. It was in 1908 and we won the fucking league that year - a price worth paying I think. If we do win the league in the next ten years however I do know it probably won't involve playing them and it certainly won't involve losing 9-1.
  10. My first trip to the MK bowl was for U2 in 85. REM were the main support with The Ramones. It pissed down all day and I think that when U2 came on at nine everyone just decided to say "fuck it" and really went for it which made it special.

Thing is the insistence on defining PCP legally as not being owned by the Saudi state or MBS means they'd have to overreach to do the same even if they sanctioned either the state or the individual. Thanks Masters.
  12. Yeah, there can't be many bands who did that - "the sound is fucked so we'll come back and play again for nowt".
  13. The band I saw the most - probably saw them about 25 times altogether.
  14. I love Placebo and still go and see them when I can but they seem slightly out of place there. I've seen them mix it with rock acts at Reading but Metallica and Sepultura are a bit other end of the scale.
  15. Turns out it was 2001 I saw Sabbath at MK bowl - Slipknot and Tool were the support acts.
  16. Blind as well as stupid
  17. What year was that? I saw them there in 2000 but the support doesn't look right by my memory....
  18. I saw the stereophonics at the London forum the night we played stevenage - they'd just won an nme award and me and a mate went on the basis of having heard a thousand trees - only a couple of hundred there but it was great.
  19. I see the cunt has made a comment about us replacing the whole team in January - I really hope we can bury them.
  20. My first intended gig was Rainbow - I queued for tickets at the City Hall just before Xmas 79 on a Saturday based on a rumour which turned out to be a few days out and as they went on sale on a school day the next week I missed out. The Saturday was when we played QPR and won 4-2 - the turning point in a comeback was when Peter Withe tackled a dog that ran on the pitch while a free kick was about to be taken and it seemed to put them off leading to him scoring with a header from it. We should get PL to identify the dog if he can.
  21. Black Sabbath with Dio on the Heaven and Hell tour - City Hall March 1980. It was great but a bit scary as a 15/16 year old with an audience which seemed to be about 80% hells angels and bikers.
  22. Thing that settled me down is that looking at the remaining games in general, there are shit loads of six pointers among the bottom eight or nine. For us to worry 2 or more strugglers would have to start beating the top teams only as they can't all take enough points taking into account cross fixtures. This is precisely what did for the mackems when they were relegated to league one when the last round of fixtures meant either Bolton or Burton were safe as they played each other.
