  1. That's it - safe.
  2. That was a red but I would have downgraded it to yellow because of the cunt screaming and rolling around like a twat.
  3. Well technically Whitburn is in South Tyneside... (Despite having an SR postcode)
  4. I watched a few episodes of Suits early on but didn't really get into it. Then I was really surprised when it emerged about her being in it as I'd only noticed the ginger lass and Gina Torres who I've always liked. I'm with you on the firing squads BTW.
  5. Fixtures weren't kind on that front. They were kind at the start of the season which is why Bruce should be shot again retrospectively for being that shite.
  6. Surely we can get to Wolves/Leicester/Brighton level reasonably easily? West Ham at a push.
  7. I think David Milliband was a bit dismissive of the unions to be fair - not realising how much he needed them. I think the surrender on the crisis narrative is a joint Ed Milliband/Ed Balls failing.
  8. Big bollocks from Starmer to be fair.
  9. They rang my land-line again earlier (made me realise the units need new batteries as it cut out straight away) then rang my mobile straight after with no bother - appointment next Thursday so all good in the end.
  10. What you call the hard left is pretty much democratic socialism elsewhere - certainly in terms of the 2019 manifesto though I'd agree that didn't go as far as some wanted. I'd call Blair and where Starmer probably wants to be mildly centre right - I sill remember 2005 when the Lib manifesto was a lot more "socialist" than labour's and so far Starmer and Reeves have suggested nothing that isn't "old style" Tory policy.
  11. Does anyone still use their phone land line? I had a pre-assessment for my cataract surgery last week but I overlooked the part in the letter that said don't drive to the appointment so they couldn't do one of the tests and they promised to fit me in quite quickly to do the outstanding test but I got a letter today with an appointment in 8 weeks time. I phoned to complain and they told me they'd rung me several times before last week to go over the details and would have emphasised the driving thing but they used my home number which goes to ansaphone and I never check it - I didn't even tell them it so they must have looked it up. They claim they tried my mobile but there's nothing in the call history.
  12. I don't know the details but SSN implied that Scunthorpe have had no choice but to play the kids for the last few games at least - maybe since their relegation was confirmed but they seemed to be saying it was one of the reasons they had gone down.
  13. The fact that he's reportedly shocked by the vitriol directed at him indicates he either thought they'd treat him differently or he's very naive. Writing an article for The Sun was also a fucking disgrace. There were plenty of people in the Labour Party who worked against Corbyn (which is why they won't release the Forde report) who are now on his team.
  14. I think it's hilarious that he cozied up to the mail and the sun in the hope of a Blair type endorsement and he and his camp are now whinging at the nasty men who are picking on him. They were happy with the press when they were shitting on Milliband and Corbyn to a much greater degree of course.
  15. Lascelles spreads chaos - not saying it would have been that different but he needs to go.
  16. I still feel a bit sorry for Corbyn on brexit - he had to try and keep both sides onside - going either way full on would have cost him either way. Maybe the 2017 respect the result view would have been better electorally.
  17. Burnham, Cooper and the rest lost to Corbyn because their "manifestos" for the leadership election were absolute dogshit - no underlying principles or vision. I do agree that Burnham looks competent though.
  18. Southampton could be caught in a CT type decent triple run for Everton/Leeds/Burnley - their last two games are liverpool home and Leicester away.
  19. Reading keeper's just done a Shay Given at Coventry.
  20. Honesty? He lied through his teeth with his ten pledges during the leadership election and since has ordered abstentions on anything requiring principles - oh except for once when he changed an intended abstention on the policing bill to a vote against based on the Sarah Everard vigil making it impossible to follow his plan. Of course he made sure it passed in the Lords by giving Labour peers the day off. He might get back his tory focus group gammon bigots but he's losing Muslims, students, greens and others by the bucket load.
  21. Anyway "if the players I was setting up were better I'd make more goals" fails miserably because: a. The cunt never passes and b. When he does they go astray and c. It's not like he's making chances that are missed. So he's saying his non-existent passes would reach better players which is shite as its his responsibility to hit the players we do have. It's also not as if he made loads of goals for Wilson when we did have better than what we have now.
  22. He'll look stupid when he's one of the first ones replaced.
