  1. I thought it was the thin/fat/thin/fat/thin one that's married to the MLF?

    Yes Gemmill...

Paul Di'Anno - no longer running free.
  3. Ah, I blame Irvine Welsh then.
  4. Badenoch wants a six day working week. Apart from "fuck that" the thought of their target base of pensioners voting for that is just fucking wrong.
  5. Just about to board a flight home from holiday - let's see If BA's WiFi supports iptv.
  6. Ah, Hodges that's it - took the huff over something didn't he?
  7. Looks like one of the chuckle brothers behind the lasses on the barrier. No clue on the lasses' names. Mirandinha, John Hendrie, Gazza and Andy Thorn?
  8. Sounds like Isak yes, Wilson no going by Howe's remarks - usual slightly deliberate misleading proviso applies.
  9. They should make their minds up - Leadsom fucked her own campaign by saying childless Theresa May had no stake in the future.

Just read about this Liam Payne bloke's death - was he an opponent of Putin?
  11. The smart people around Starmer thought they could win by appealing to moderate tories and binning anyone vaguely left wing but only 6% of 2019 tory voters voted Labour. As Alex suggests I think any perceived failure in government will make people a lot more open to vote elsewhere - especially if they only voted anti-tory or if they are left wingers who were "too loyal" and will see what they've actually got.
  12. Today's Toontastic.net moral quandary - pre-rigor mortis hotty or living minger? One for the ages...
  13. It's a big state vs little state question. We've had 45 years minus a N arguable brief respite of a push toward individual responsibility being the basis of society and it's got us here. Trying to deal with inner city crime when cuts to youth services are to blame, shoring up infrastructure devestated by more cuts, the rivers and seas full of shit because of the drive for dividends over service and also dealing with obesity caused by poor education, bastard food firms exploiting the poor and cuts to leisure services as you mention. We've now been beaten down to accept that the 5th biggest economy on the planet can't afford anything as the wealth has been migrated from poor to rich deliberately and any suggestion of reversing that is communist heresy. This is why I think your incremental change is doomed - only major surgery will make any difference and I'm resigned to the fact it won't happen.
  14. I agree but they represent broad intent. Corbyn's was all about real change, Starmer's is about status quo despite the big claim of change.
  15. I don't expect Starmer yo refuse to meet Meloni but praising her ideas is a bit too far. I also don't despite what you suggest demand idealogical purity - but some idealogy that reflects the history of the party, it's membership and overall the views of the British people would be a start. Despite my misgivings Blair had a vision and a plan - I don't see any vision now.
  16. Starmer has moved from an "immigration is good" stance (to be fair that was his 10 pledges so obviously horseshit) to having exactly the same position as the Tories minus Rwanda - see meeting that fascist cunt in Italy and saying she had some interesting ideas as an example. Also via Streeting and their response to the Case report they've moved from a consensus of 5 or 6 years ago when even the tories under May supported self-identification for trans people to being cornered into a definition of womanhood straight from the gender critical idiots - ironically getting behind Duffield who then showed at least she had a conscience about non-trans issues. All trying to appeal to supposed social conservatives in the red wall. Funnily enough I saw a projection based on the latest polls yesterday showing Reform would win two seats in Sunderland including Bridget's.
  17. 22 page thread on the lasses match and the team are "small time" for celebrating winning a game which doesn't apparently matter which will now have the entire edition of Look North devoted to it tomorrow. Also "Saudi skanks" lol.
  18. I love the implication that mackems would be generally more likely to be able to afford Caribbean holidays that poverty stricken mags.
  19. Some of their ideology like "fiscal responsibility" aka austerity, NHS outsourcing, welfare and crime crackdowns and culture shit on immigration and tansgenderism have found a home in labour under Starmer and Reeves.
  20. Are they still having the debate about them singing "Geordies" ar the 73 final or has thar been finally Mackem-washed from history?
  21. Within the rules sounds okay but the question for me is the quid pro quo. The gcse flat and other gift donor was given a no 10 pass. The tax haven based company who gave 4m had their associate appointed to a climate role. Not tory level corruption but still not right imo.
  22. So not as complete a takedown of the APT rules as first thought. Theyll have to include the shareholder loans for them to continue though.
  23. Do we all reckon the redacted bit for the email is "Daniel Levy"?
