They've always been one of the most volatile clubs in term of attendance before the last few "always full" years. In the early days of the Prem they'd get a full 40k against Man U or Liverpool but then get 22k or something like that agaisnt Southampton etc.

1985 Aston Villa (a) 2-1 (1-1) Division One Beardsley, Gascoigne Gray 12,633 This is the one that I always think of when Villa sing "Where were you when you were shit". First division, a city of more than a million and you got around 10k home fans for a game. This was the only time we were given the upper tier in the end behind the goal - I took a walk up to the back row before the game and thought it was too far from the pitch - in hindsight a preview of the newer grounds including ours. I also remember this was one of the first games where I realised just how good Gazza was.

I presume that the word "competent" was implied.

I'm beginning to think the increments are getting smaller - I remember when I got Sky HD 3 years ago that there was definitely a wow factor but now I don't think my brain notices any significant difference - maybe we need a new great leap forward.
-
Is the difference worth it on a 1080i display? I have a 1080i in my lounge but I now have a 1080p monitor on my computer and a blu-ray drive but haven't actually watched anything yet - I was going to wait for my next TV upgrade which will probably be next year.

It's a fair cop up toa point. I just thought that off the top of my head there are 4 or 5 million non-whites in the UK and the population of London is 6 or 7 million so 7 > 4, forgetting that the 7 may include some of the 4. However I still think that the proportions would still be 2 to 1 at least.
-
Mmmm 7.1m people in London as of the last census, and 5m non whites in the UK. I get your point but the facts are incorrect. He went on to mention that it should have been held in Bromley or Thurrock (or Stoke but forget that for a moment) as they are more his types of places - if he goes out that far say at or around the m25 then I think you're talking nearer 12m - possibly more.
-
He's now claiming the audience was too ethnic which reflects the fact that London has been ethnically cleansed of whites. Sound like he has a problem with maths as well as history - even if all the nonwhites in the UK lived in London they'd still be outnumbered.

I went to Singapore with work 4 years ago for a couple of weeks and they couldn't get their heads around the concept of leaving the house for work in the dark and returning in the dark - they thought it would be depressing - I couldn't argue like.

That's the thing, if you apply BNP standards then I should be shipped off to Sweden tomorrow. Or at least my mother should. She'd look pretty damn white in a Question Time audience too. Maybe Stevie's uncanny powers of establishing the cuntishness of forruners extend to instinctively knowing who in a given group of people is descended from PROPER BRITISH NEANDERTHALS. "We must return Britain to its racial make-up as it was 30000 years ago" (Sorry racial not ethical)

I think things like PRINCE can become more about the methodolgy in itself than the reasons behind it which make sense. One of the reasons why I have no ambitions to describe myself as a "project manager" is because of such what I think of as restrictive rules. My strengths are troubleshooting and problem solving and sometimes I don't want to have to do all the paperwork involved with doing things "properly".

I think the size of the place is pretty key - our IT production department only has 6 people so they tend to be jack's of all trades. I'm not sure about certification but they've all done both MS and CISCO training - though I think the more technical aspects of the latter in terms of infratructure are outsourced.
-
I know - I've done the course (and got the qualification ) Another thing about these things in general is the built in expiry which is why I think recent job history is more important.
-
Maybe I'm wrong as I have no experience of the public sector - I wouldn't be surprised if Government edicts mean that MCSE etc boxes have to be ticked. I know the DSS are big on ITIL for example.
-
I wouldn't go that far but from a development pov I usually ignore them and look at job history above all else. The thing about the MS quals is that you can get the answers off E-Bay which everyone knows so there is an air of distrust. Of course if you know your stuff anyway then that's okay as it would only take 5 minutes to work out someone was completely clueless.

I think their policy of withdrawing from the EU might get around that. The strange thing is a lot of their non-racist policies, though a bit bat-shit crazy, are very left wing/socialist and I find myself thinking "if only other parties had the guts to suggest something like that" - I guess its a bit like the liberals - being realistic in knowing they can't get into power under the current system, lends itself to "out there" policies. I do think it should be easy to show him up but I don't think it will happen.

I did MCAD/MCSD and found it okay - haven't tried MCSE.

Thanks I looked in to that but learn better when taught by someone actually standing there teaching me. It might be the only way forward though so i'll put in a thing at work to ask them to pay for it and see what they say. Cheers! I was going to mention cost - an outsourced course will cost a lot - I looked at one about 6 years ago that was more than £2k wheras the training kits are about £100. Of course if you can get your employer to pay thats the best way. I did it self-taught.
-
Don't know of any NE based ones but most people use the self-guided training materials MS sell.

Chloramphenicol ointment (Sold in the UK as Optrex infected Eyes) is the business. I had a bad case 2 or 3 years ago and since then have had a few re-occurences but the onitment sorts it out almost instantly. They may try and palm you off with the drop form of it which may work for some people but as I said the ointment is brilliant.

If the instalments are 8x10m then in all honesty I wouldn't blame the fat cunt for getting iffy. If its 2x40m (more likely) then I think not taking it is yet another mistake.

I think Stoke fans are generally scum but the work the FSF did with them to show up GM police was excellent and should be of interest to any fan. The Mackems should really complain about being setup but I suppose brutality is the only thing they have a chance of proving.

I would guess he's just looking at the table - remember his comment that Kinnear had us "safe" when his heart went because we were 12th when in reality we were 2 points off 3rd bottom and playing absolutely shite.
