  1. A lot of the press seem to have shifted to a "give him a chance" agenda. I don't really care about Pardew - it's the fat cunt we need to focus on - the club is fucked while he's there - doesn't matter who is manager imo.
  2. I think the Chron or some other paper should send Stevie as their bloke to the unveiling - might liven it up a bit.
  3. We probably should have noticed the bit in history when he upset "the city" after the SD flotation with what amounted to two fingers saying "I run my business my way". Might have seemed good in that context but it also shows his attitude to the fans. We are just like the mugs who buy his cheap SD tat.
  4. Relegated and no difference - Hughton is a decent man and I'd prefer him to Pardew but only one person will/would have got us relegated anyway imo. The shit I've read about him and his weasel sitting down with Hughton to interfere in selction/tactics (via Caulkin) means we were always doomed imo - and that's not counting another typical transfer window.
  5. The key word in the statement is "needed" - needed for what? - to stop up - most people think we would have done that. To finish top half? - a lot of people thought that was feasible given a bit of luck. To push for Europe with the fat cunt's transfer funding? taking the piss. If it's about medium/long term progression then having a bright. youngish manager gaining experience much like Moyes when he came to Everton and Coyle now obviously makes too much sense as well. If they do appoint Pardew I hope they get absolutely slaughtered - and I'd be happy to see him booed on arrival.
  6. Judging by that statement, they haven't got anyone lined up which means the usual suspects in a shitlist. Feel really sorry for Hughton but if this is the catalyst for getting the fat cunt out of the club, I can see it being good in the long run.
  7. Attempt at the sad/gay as fuck title: Full of Grace by Sarah McLachlan - meaning only known to any fans of Buffy.
  8. Decent gesture but one of their sponsors/paymasters will pick up their tab.
  9. When we have the first team out and they play well, we are capable of excellent performances and results. When we don't we revert to what we saw today and what we'll see more and more as the season goes on - a very poor team. I'd take 17th in a heartbeat.

    Geordie Songs

I don't know how he is, but I remember reading a few articles about how he slipped on a pie in the ground and suffered a serious brain injury which led to him trying to get compen from the club.
  11. Sent the wrong prince - Andrew has no problem with corruption.
  12. Presuming that the Spanish votes came from SA and possibly Europe, that would suggest Russia got the votes of Asia and Africa - the areas most open to corruption - funny that. I also had to laugh at the notion that Blatter taking the envelope from a notary somehow means its all above board. Political naivity all round on a huge scale if you ask me.
  13. Bottled it to work from home today - pavements/roads were icing up last night and there's been fresh snow overnight so can't be bothered to risk it. Already admitted to the lad I work with who's from Blackburn to Southern gayification (He wimped out yesterday).
  14. I am at work as the trains are running fine but on the whole I think if you are set up for home working which we are then it does make sense to do so. Last year when the snow first hit I didn't get in till noon whereas on the following days when I did stay home I could do a full days work. I enjoy the jibes about people being soft but in 2010 home working should be encouraged imo.
  15. I was out on a leaving do tonight so stayed anyway but the number of cunts who'd fucked off by 4 was a disgrace (even to my "I'm looking for another job so don't give a fuck anyway" mentality) Downsizing sorted in one day as you say.
  16. The bits I saw, I found it a bit sad that despite beating their rivals hansomely, it still didn't stop the cheating and trying to get the other players sent off. Even Messi was diving and I admire him for being a non-cheat usually. Carvalho is a stupid twat though.
  17. It's a sadly true cliche - a couple of inches and the trains were struggling amid tannoy anouncments of "severe weather".

    Wikileaks

That's exactly what you do. In your world the British are always heroes and the enemy are always evil baby eaters. Theres no middle ground at all. You don't want to know about any evidence that there are cunts on both sides as you trust everything you're told and dismiss any facts from the other side - the pwers that be absolutely love people like you - unquestioning, trusting sheep who accept losing their freedoms because they're told that the enemy is at the door.
  19. I caught a bit of that last word thing where Andy Gray was saying that Chelsea should have expected to beat teams like us. I know its probably true (which hurts) but the way he said it smacked massively of "Geordies - know your place".
  20. Campbell was as good as I'd hoped/expected - having someone who actually knows what they're doing (much like Tiote) makes a hell of a difference. I'm not his biggest fan but Taylor was good as well.
  21. "Nice Beaver" "Thanks - I've just had it stuffed". RIP.
  22. Still nothing but quite nasty frosts in Essex - the forecast is just a week of the same.
  23. Man City had a rickety arse temporary stand around that time too. Their Chairman was an outright bell end, but we contributed to a complete farce and as the big club (who had failed to beat them at home earlier) we ended up looking like sore 'losers'. Noblesse oblige tbh. Dalglish did come across as a right mong admittedly but as you say their chairman was the worst. I use to know a couple of people who supported conference teams and they both hated Green - he was the non-league Ken Bates.
  24. It was them that lacked any class - I remember Shepherd (whose word I don't automatically take) saying how he spoke to their chairman who agreed not to make any decisions or speak to the press until they'd met only for him to blab to the BBC 10 minutes later. Also anyone who did go can testify that the temporary stand they put up was a ramshackle mess that must have involved backhanders somewhere along the line. I fucking loved it when we beat them and they're always a team whose result I notice with a good "get in" when they lose.
  25. Good summary - I'd have Guthrie in the gym to try and build a bit of strength. We could probably do with a Barton type left sided midfielder but I can't think of any. I'd also like to state how much I hate Anelka for just being so fucking good - and how much I hate Drogbha for being a cheating cunt.
