Andy Carroll....Local Hero! O̶r̶ ̶J̶u̶d̶a̶s̶?
NJS replied to Christmas Tree 's topic in Newcastle Forum
Your view of Carroll's transfer was that we shouldn't have sold him to Liverpool because you see them as a team we should be competing against - surely the same applied to the sale of Hamman? The board/PLC thing is a load of shit - its obvious all major decisions such as managers and transfers were taken by Shepherd with reference to Douglas Hall - if you think Shepherd was contacting non-entities who only exist because for accounting reasons before sacking/appointing managers or deciding on who to sell players than you're even blinder than I thought. The club is going in exactly the same direction it was when Ashley bought it - even the Halls didn't believe your "re-grouping" nonsense and sold out to a scumbag as quickly as they could. Any answer on the Liverpool position thing? -

You rarely post on skunkers now because your relentless pro Shepherd/anti Ashley posts were so boring that everyone on there put you on ignore. Are you trying to achieve the same here? I never posted much on skunkers to start with. The relentless crap spouted on about "trophy signings" [hope you are happy with the quality of our current strikers instead] and how embarrassing it was to be one of the top clubs in the country, and how anybody but Fred would do better, bored the fuck out of me. I hope all the pricks who wanted all of that are happy. And I didn't mention Shepherd when you mentioned Hamman. I made a comment about Liverpool buying our best players and giving us their shite in exchange ? Do you not agree with that ? Did I mention Shepherd, it was nothing to do with Shepherd you halfwit. Why don't you do a bit of research into why Hamman was sold, in case you're so stupid and clueless you don't know ? Then when you have done that, examine your comment that Shepherd sold him when he never owned the club. Then when you have done that, look at the league positions we achieved and the champions League qualifications achieved after Hamman was sold before asking such a fucking stupid question.. Sadly, there are plenty of arseholes like you still around, on all the message boards including skunkers, and in real life. Make a sensible and correct statement if you want to debate anything with me, or don't bother. Hamman was sold because he took the huff with Gullit - though of course according to you we shouldn't have sold him to a so called rival when there isn't a player on the planet who wouldn't see Liverpool as a step up from Newcastle at any time in the past, now or in the future.. So why does Shepherd still refer to all the decisions like appointing managers and signing Owen etc in the first person? He was responsible for day to day decisions and even if he did get Hall junior involved that's no "excuse". Why don't you answer a question from Skunkers - why do you refer to Liverpool as a team we shouldn't be below when we only finished above them once in ten years when Shepherd was chairman? -
I'm a bit surprised Stevie - I would have had you down for a royalist to go with your other patriotism stuff. They face a dilemma on the republic imo - if they want to keep it going another century they should try and fiddle skipping to the cretinous groom today - I honestly think the fig-eared cunt being king could be their downfall (hopefully). Today is a wonderful opportunity to vastly purge the gene pool by mining and/or machine gunning the crowds and a couple of bombs among the VIP area would do the world a power of good as well.

Said before his two-footed tackle on Dumas at Highbury which of course he only got a yellow for was the dirtiest tackle I've ever seen. Also deserves inclusion for getting Robert sent off with his deliberate quick free-kick - genuine attempt my fucking arse. On thread if you want to use the complimentary form of of the word from our point of view and the other form for the rest of the world then Shearer would be captain.

I think he'll act like a twat - too thick to do otherwise. -
See I'd say aye great goal, but not as good as the Arsenal goal and no where near the to 20 goals I've seen in the flesh. In my case quite a few scored by Beardsley. Though McGhee's versus Bradford come instantly to mind as a goal that pissed all over last nights.

I thought my ongoing/never-ending quest for a new job had hit a new milestone today. I was out and about earlier and got a call from an agent about a role at Goldman Sachs. First time I've heard their name mentioned and I'd just assumed they did their recruitment directly via the Illuminati (or more likely by family/friends referral only). Anyway on getting home and reading the spec it turns out its a good fit for my skills apart from of course the key technology/system plastered in bold at the top and mentioned in the first sentence (Informatica) which I don't have - another Agent fail. Was looking forward to descending to the next circle of hell (or maybe even 2 levels at once).

Ye should be on Britain's Got Talent yee like. Anyone who wears them can get them in in 10 seconds. I've had mine since I was 17, best invention ever, still considering lazer treatment though. As soon as I had them in the first time, I thought; this is fucking great-I'm getting my eyes lasered. I'm getting a bit better at putting them in, I spent ages last week trying to pop one in though and the bastard kept sticking to my finger, then I think it went in inside-out. Tantrums ensued. I had lenses for a couple of years before I got lasered (and between ops) and remember once being that pissed I spent the train ride home (35 mins) trying to get a lens out that had actually popped out on the first attempt. bit of a sore eye the next day and I was also glad it was my left eye which I had disposables for - my right needed a "proper" one due to astigmatism.

"Beat" 2, "ran past" 3, danced around all 5. It was a really excellent goal but not quite worth the jizzfest - of course knowing that a player can't tackle you and using that to motor past him is great to watch but it's not quite as good as implied by "beat 5 men" - just saying.
-
IMO there's a difference between "beating" and "running past" - former 2, latter 5.
-
Undoubtedly - and it's not really an excuse to say we expect it from a Mourinho team - however I think as a contrast to the usual jizzfest over Barca I think its fair to point out they have a team full of cheating cunts as well.
-
You could say it's a two way street though - how does Alves or any of the rest of them expect respect? It's so fucking unmnanly. Not to get all macho or owt (cos I'm not), but how the fuck can a bloke carry on like that. Villa being the latest - I'd love to see a modern day Collina just kick them and say "just fucking get up"

Alves is another player I'd love to see have his leg broken.
-
El Classico? - El Cheatico more like it. Would love to see someone actually get chinned as I'm sure actual physical contact would be so much of a shock they'd drop down dead.
-
Depends what you mean by cheap. Just say for the sake of argument he's on 80k at Villa (not a stretch given he came reluctantly from Man City) and they were paying half his wages for the loan (or it was pay as you go as suggested) - I can't see us starting to pay those kinds of wages again even for frees.

Well I call your Mother an idiot for calling a kid Charlotte-Letitia.

I just think he would have more to say for himself on here if he had, I sense things about people. I've told him what to do i.e. click the countries and he lists them. He's an annoying cunt. I always got the impression he wasn't lying about his travels like.

I get the feeling I'm going a bit (more) insane - I think I posted a couple of weeks ago that I'd noticed more than one SSN presenter pronounces "sixth" as "sickth" and its starting to drive me mental as I get the feeling they all do it and it must be company policy. I'm sure the other night when they showed the table whoever it was said "and Blackburn stay sickteenth". Spotted another one earlier and thought about sending an email to complain - think I need to get out the house.

12% for me - only USA, Singapore and Morocco outside of Europe but a canny few in the latter.

Hall used the same tactic in the early days - "if it hadn't been for us there'd be no Newcastle United" was something he definitely said in relation to Barclays. tbf it was a damned sight closer to the truth back in late 1991 though. It has the same undermining lie though - the club would survive as many like like Boro did however painful the situation would have been - the notion that the ground would be closed and the club shut down with no more football being played is pure fantasy imo.
-
Not a bad view - I always thought it de-railed us a bit when John Hall took a back seat and left it more up to his idiot son and Shepherd. On your administrator point I'd also say Fletcher should have stayed longer despite his obvious complete cuntishness.

Sick of being sick - had a nasty bout of man flu 2 weeks ago, started to feel almost human by last midweek but have had a bit of a relapse since Friday - either a mutation or a cousin of the original. All this sunshine and I've been as far as the co-op at the top of the street.

Dodgy sleep patterns over the last 24 hours meant I watched Total Recall and Mad Max 2 between about 2 and 5 this morning. Still enjoyable viewing but nearly shit myself when I saw MM2 was made in 1981 - 30 fucking years ago.
